On versions 1.13+ you can use trapdoors with water in it and a block connected to the tripwire for simpler design. (havent tested this though)

Works in 1.21 with buffs to redstone drops

Works perfectly in 1.20.6 and 1.21. Use the world download to test yourself. Some slight difference between the video and world download. Just following the video it will break. What I can remember off the top of my head you need to change is: two blocks need to be replaced with target blocks and the 3 items placed in the dispenser need to be changed to 2. Double check with the world download to avoid any issues. Also on servers spigot/paper will likely break the farm.

I’m sorry to be that one dude but… does it work on bedrock edition?

I have a problem with the hopper minecart popping out of the sticky piston (the one above the final collection hopper). When the sticky piston fires, the hopper minecart pops out. Every block and state matches the schematic I made from the world download and my farm is built in the same direction. I am in 1.21 on a server. Any ideas why this is happening?

to save u time, the minecart version in the world download for 1.20.4 doesn't work

1.21 Update and it's still works, but sometimes some are still able to spawn but maybe that's my own mistake on building it. overall it's definitely working :)

So the 1.21 update came out, and I'm using the crafter for a bread farm but I keep getting seeds in the crafter. Is there a way to split the seeds to a different chest?

if your wanting to use this setup in the newest update use a iron shovel i tried with a diamond shovel it was too quick

I love your videos! I dig the way you explain things, and your problem solving! But if you're interested in 1 small bit of constructive criticism (that is just my opinion) .... ... ... ... ... ... I don't like your outro tune. The audio levels are so much louder than the rest of your video, and the shrill sound of that first full-volume chord are so jarring. I hope this is seen as the compliment I intended, but I fall asleep watching your videos (not that they're boring ... but they're just easy and comforting to watch) ... unfortunately, thanks to that outro, I don't stay asleep for long though.

It has been 1 year, I'm still here, waiting for the next season of this series.

Honestly the compasses to a position filled in by the farm is by far the 'best' in my opinion as it does require breaking the farm for additional compasses to be made afterwards. Renaming gold / iron nuggets is definitely the strategy I'm going to employ however. It seems like the largest threat to your storage system for any item beyond 'renamed items' is that the initial batch of the item gets mixed into your sorter after the fact

it would be fun to build some modules that have small plots and more focus on the honey and honeycomb farms, especially now with the autocrafters introduced. the crops are a byproduct that can be traded back in to the farmer villagers for emerald returns early game maybe?
